Imaginary Garden with Real Toads invites poetry contributions. I used aleatory poetry, lines taken from a Iris Murdoch novel that fell apart as I was reading it. I chose sentences describing the landscape and arranged it so to form a poem.

  1. Rommy says:

The words and arrangement are both beautiful

  2. Jim says:

Darn Moon, blotting out that vision before I could see it. It sounded fast moving,
Poor Jay, caught in the fury.
When I compose and post a ‘spine poem, made of a stack of books, I type the words below the picture for my readers ease. I couldn’t read yours so I did, with my iPad, a screen snap pic and then stretched the picture out for me to have a large print read.
    Nice composure.
Thank you for visiting and for your nice comment. Cheers,
    ..

  3. The image is beautiful and the words are a little hard to read, but I got them.. it’s amazing what an element of randomness can give.. I like the how the brain is wired to try to find those little connection..

  4. Marian says:

    Love it! Truly wonderful. Bravo!!

  5. Marian says:

That looks really beautiful but my old eyes can’t read the type 😦

  6. This is visually beautiful, but the type is too small for me to read it. So sorry.

  7. This is absolutely stunning.
