    ’twas around this time two millennia ago the story of one child made a difference, why can’t the story of every child be as important.

    How in this modern world an innocent life doesn’t cause a ripple in humanities conscience? Lest we forget.

    This was interesting–I found myself wondering in the last stanza who was looking for consolation and whether they were grieving the loss of the tree or the impossibility of a lost story.
