I like this one especially. First a pathetic fallacy—two insults make a compliment—then there is something earthy (fleshy, even) in the water and the reflection of the sky.
I would’ve wanted to thank you for your comment but do not understand it.
The words: “rock pool / diving deep” – as pools can’t literally dive those lines seem to me to be a pathetic fallacy and that is, as you no doubt know, attribution of human feelings to a non human entity. Here it is neither pathetic (miserably inadequate, an insult) nor a fallacy (misleading or unsound argument, another insult) but a useful poetic device (a compliment.)
The picture: a nice combo of earth, water and air. It’s like but more abstract than Escher’s 1955 lithograph “Three Worlds”
Sorry about the confusion.
Beautiful, Two pictures trying to merge into one.
Nice! Thanks!
