a change of wind turns me back –
the moon, full, rising
a bird, a swift, back
from somewhere in Africa

Not me, it was the wind.

I love “tending the sunset”. I know that feeling, or at least the feeling the words immediately pointed me toward!
A kind of softness. An expectation of feeling cleaner after. I think. For me anyway.
Yes. That the day is settled in its drawer, folded neatly.
