At a junction – no signpost. No rainbow.

Enjoy the journey they say: the uncertainty, the unknown, alone …

Makes me think of “The Road Not Taken.”

  2. Bodhirose says:

It’s difficult for me to “enjoy” the uncertainty of some of those paths and then other times I’ve thrown caution to the wind and made choices that turned out just fine! I wish you well on your journey, Petru.

  3. Bryan Ens says:

Love the “no signpost. No rainbow”. Sometimes in life we must make those choices without any clear signs.

It is fun to make discoveries at times!

  5. Yes, reminds me of Frost, also. Short and effective write.

  6. I somehow start to think about Robert Frost.. the road less taken… maybe it’s the one without a signpost.

I can relate to this for I am in a similar space. The raven is sometimes seen as a symbol of magic transformation. Your image really has that feel.

    • It’s not easy. I think what people call transformation can sometimes be seen as growth that has been happening over a period of time. The sort one notices when it is fully grown and comes as a surprise.

Reminds me of a highlife song about a “Crossroad bird”. The song is called “Anouman Sandrofia”. You can listen to it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EVi1mwhcQc I remember the record cover contained an explanation of the text. I think the bird simbolizes a choice and you have to catch the bird, but I cannot recall any details. The youtube video shows the backside of the record with the explanations, maybe it is possible to read it if you increase the size on screen.
