Familiar Partings

specificities of encounter relinquished –
memories remain uncaptured
the portrait collapses into
historical trauma.
Ambiguity of relationships examines
the urgency of loss – engages
with ephemeral things and
familiar partings.

Deep poem and the painting’s a mindblower! I wonder if I’m following all your blogs.
I only have two and you are following both Nan.Thanks for the compliment!

Friend..:)
Love the ambiguous vibe in your poem 🙂
Beautifully executed.
Lots of love,
Sanaa
Abstract, yet beautiful. ..both the poem and painting are lovely.
Life is indeed the superb mystery, Petru. We are uncertain where it will lead us, but we revel in the fact that we are headed somewhere. Make your mark whenever you go, leave them wanting more of you; let your departures bookmark your time here so you can pick-up where you left off!
A curious reply! Are you psychic?
Just love the second stanza… ephemeral things and familiar partings…wow!
Thank you!
Your work is a great abstract, just like the picture, very good!
Thanks!
I found this interesting and intriguing. It holds such mystery.
Oh that ambiguity.. can we ever know which way it’s heading…?
Suppose ambiguity is about ambivalence. 🙂
