The récapitul is a fixed poetic form created by Jacques Jouet in 2010. Its fully fledged form is a little long for our purposes,* so we’ll use its truncated version, the petit récapitul portatif
In choosing Wikipedia articles to work from, I used free association, one topic lead to what I associated it to next. Very interesting exercise. Thanks Daniel Levin Becker. The words in italics read as a different poem and each word is linked to the relevant Wikipedia article.
Very creative, and is obvious you put a lot of time into this!
Yes, indeed I did. I enjoyed the exercise enormously and would like to do more.
What a creative way to create a new expression.
There is a longer form too. Many aspects to it that can be explored. Each article I worked from proved interesting to read in its entirety before I chose a sentence to use. Much fun.
This is a new form for me, so thanks for the introduction. I agree that creativity relaxes the mind.
And so it does! Enjoy the holiday.
Interesting exercise–I like how found poetry creates so many surprises.
Definitely want to work with it some more. Structure of sentences particularly interesting to study.
An interesting form wrapped around your words and sentiment, Petru. Both have appealed to my curiosity. Will read this again and learn something from both!
Thanks! Found poetry has many aspects that helps in growing in writing.
What an interesting form! I am not familiar with the form but this is an excellent poem.
Thank you Toni. From you it is high praise.
