tree to bedrock

tree to bedrock
as water around stone
the will to life

Just sitting, resting
creative inaction
healing psyche too

Subverting the myth
Psyche husks linseed harvest
for her own use

Cigs, tea and a book –
we’re early to bed,
cat snuggles up

    Thank you for your visit.

  2. I think you have found the best of finding yourself in that solitude

    • It’s really true about going on a walk by oneself. One walks or sits or wades through water entirely on impulse without having to consider anybody else. I always return refreshed and feel as if I’ve been ‘fed’.

I can certainly relate to the book in bed—my nighttime ritual!

  4. What a wonderful series of haiku/senryu Petru … very nicely written and in a way different from the other responses i have read. Thank you for sharing.
