Haiku

tree to bedrock
as water around stone
the will to life
Just sitting, resting
creative inaction
healing psyche too
Subverting the myth
Psyche husks linseed harvest
for her own use
Cigs, tea and a book –
we’re early to bed,
cat snuggles up
Each path to solitude is different and sharing that path is magical. 🙂
Thank you for your visit.
Likewise!
I think you have found the best of finding yourself in that solitude
It’s really true about going on a walk by oneself. One walks or sits or wades through water entirely on impulse without having to consider anybody else. I always return refreshed and feel as if I’ve been ‘fed’.
I can certainly relate to the book in bed—my nighttime ritual!
Solitude
Can’t live without ’em. I get nervous if I haven’t a book or four going at a time. Thanks for visiting.
What a wonderful series of haiku/senryu Petru … very nicely written and in a way different from the other responses i have read. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Kristjaan. After I linked to Carpe Diem I in fact wondered whether I kept to the prompt. It goes there a little bit though so I left it.
