The blank page, a field of shadows cast by the wineglass – instant transformation …

    • Thanks. What’s the question mark for? … A wineglass was placed on a blank piece of paper, arbitrarily, just because there was available space on the table. The resulting shadows were happily photographed. It was red wine. The art class happened sometime ago. The small town where I now live produces a student once in a while … Hope it answers the question mark.

the question mark was to whether “wundebar” means wonderful – it was the word that came to mind – but sometimes those don’t exist out in the world

        • Wunderbar, with an umlaut on the ‘u’ is the correct German spelling. Wonderful (English); wonderlik (Afrikaans).

parents and grandparents mixed german-isms into their (particularly) exclamations – so I’m never quite sure if they’re German actually – or German idiosyncratically – thanks
