I realise, by posting artworks, how eclectic my work is. If this is a problem, I’ve been at it for a while. Some time ago I asked two different people whose opinion I respect, to have a look at my overall portfolio for feedback. Both agreed that I should choose one way of working and stick to it and develop the particular style I choose. All of the styles had value they said.

I did this painting in about 20 minutes. I was upset about something and instead of throwing my toys out of the cot, I did the painting instead. There happened to be an empty cold drink bottle standing around for exactly this purpose. Acrylic on paper.

Constructive criticism is welcome.

Artist Statement or rationale or why do I do what I do

I make art, I read a lot and I'm now trying to write as well. Otherwise I belong to a cat by the name of Charlie that drives me nuts sometimes and other times makes me melt with love for her.
